Costume Manager Full-Time (Worthington OH) Costume Manager Full-Time
We are seeking a detail oriented and deadline driven individual who loves to have fun. The Mascot Organization is a friendly and fun fast-paced small business. We coordinate promotional mascot appearances for many well-known entertainment and retail clients nationwide. This position is full time hourly with paid overtime and benefits
Costume manager will be responsible for:
- Costume repair and maintenance (Previous costume design or construction experience a plus)
- Assist in design and development of new costumes based on clients needs
- Care and cleaning of client and company mascot costumes
- Costume inventory
- Costume scheduling and shipping
- Costume tracking and follow up with clients
- Assisting with recruiting and training new performing talent
- Assisting with various administrative tasks
- Fulfill local and regional performing tasks as needed
- manage mascot performers at larger events
Qualified Candidates must have:
- Clean criminal background (no convictions)
- Experience in costume design, costume management or costume production
- 2 years experiences in project management, customer support, theater or event planning
- High School diploma (Associate or Bachelors' Degree preferred)
- Ability to work as a team player in the office (and a leader on-site in the field)
- Good interpersonal, communication & organizational skills
- Good phone etiquette
- Proficiency with Microsoft office applications (Word, Excel)
- Familiarity with QuickBooks or Quicken software is a plus
