St. Thomas the Apostle, Glen Mills, is seeking a faith-filled zealous Catholic Principal/Leader who is deeply committed to the mission of the church, is committed to academic excellence ,and has a genuine concern and care for children.

STA currently enrolls 385 children spanning Pre-School through eighth grade. Our full time faculty consists of classroom teachers plus teacher aides in Pre-School and Kindergarten. There are 2 sections for each grade. In addition we have teachers for Honors Math, Spanish, Art, Music, and Physical Education. Technology and Library/Media instructors, 2 Secretaries, a nurse on site each day, and maintenance and support personnel complete our staff.

A highly involved Home and School Association, Marketing and Fundraising Committees support the faculty and staff and are integral to the life and vitality of our school.

Catholic identity is strong at STA. Students have access to the Sacrament of Reconciliation, school liturgies and prayer experiences celebrating special occasions and liturgical seasons, May Procession and Stations of the Cross. Active participation in service to the poor is lived out through regular food collections and special emergency projects as needs arise.

In November STA completed their Self-Study for Middle States Re- Accreditation and hosted a Visiting Team. An Action Plan is in place and is set to begin in January.

A full time DRE takes care of the religious ceremonies throughout the year with teacher support.
