Project #44 will be held at Don and Sally West’s in MonroeWashington on September 10th, 11thand 12th.
Our meeting will be held Sunday September 10that 4:00 pm at Don and Sally West’s home.
We will adjourn and leave for dinner at 5:50 pm.
Dinner is at 6:30 pm at Cabbage Patch Restaurant. Cost is $19.95 and does not include Tax and Gratuity. We will be ordering off their menu for our group. We will not have to choose before. You will pay at the Cabbage Patch after dinner.You can order drinks at the restaurant. Parking is on the street or in the banks parking lot just north of the Cabbage Patch. Our dinner is upstairs in the private library with Mrs. White who we think has the lead pipe.
Golf will be contested at the Snohomish Golf Course just 15 minutes out of Monroeoff Hwy 2. Cost of golf for 62 and above is $21.52. For those under 62 it will be $26.90. No cheating Wanda.Carts are $12.91 for a half cart. A cart is recommended for this course. Each of us will pay for our golf at the course.
Golf will start at 9:15 am on Monday September 11th.
Monday is open for dinner with friends. Don and Sally would like to invite you back to their house for a BOYOF Barbeque. Bring what you would like to barbeque and Don and Sally and friends will have all the fixuns and side dishes. If you would like something special to drink, bring it with you. Start at 5:00 pm but come when it works for you.
If you decide you don’t want to at first, but decide later that you would like to come on Monday for the BBQ because no one will go to dinner with you “that’s too bad”. No just let us know at the meeting and we will make room for you or just come and Don will announce you.
Tuesday’s scramble will be held at the Blue Boy West Golf Course in Monroe, or between Monroe and Sultan. We will start at 9:15 am.
Please if Monday is not your thing then do come Tuesday because it is a scramble and everyone can help.

Blue Boy West Golf Course (go past the entrance to West’s house, you are about 1/3 of the way there.
From the Best Western Baron Inn parking lot turn left onto Hwy 2 going east.
Go .04 mile to the 2nd stoplight and turn left onto Main St. Main St. will turn into Old Owen Rd.
Go 1.9 miles to a Y in the road; this is past the cemetery and past Monroe Golf Course. Take the Y to the Left, which is Florence Acres Rd. Go 3.2 miles till you come to the Hand Rd. The Hand Rd continues straight ahead and you will want to turn to the Right continuing on the Florence Acres Rd. Go .7 tenths of a mile and the Blue Boy is on the Left. There are signs to help you. Oh, they say Blue Boy Golf Course on them.
Now if you blew it back at the Y and continued on just keep going to the Woods Rd and turn to the left. If you turn to the right you end up in John Andersons field and he will be pretty mad that you broke through his fence. Go to Florence Acres Rd and turn to the Left again. If you turn to the right you will need a tow truck so walk the .3 tenths of a mile to the golf course and call a tow truck.
While you are waiting for the tow truck have breakfast.
Breakfast starts at 8:00 am and it is good.

Canyons on north Kelsey Street across from Fred Meyers
Red Robin on north Kelsey next to Canyons.
Petosa’s on highway 2 in front of the Best Western
You could go for a nature walk at Al Borlin City Park
We can always set up a congenial visit to our gated community on the hill.
Snohomish is 8 miles east and is big on Antiques.
Go to Front Street, which will be to the south just up from the SnohomishRiver.

Go down to the waterfront and marina, several restaurants and a couple of shops.

We like to go to Mobacks Nursery; this is a unique garden center.
Maltby is only 10 miles away and has the Maltby Café, great lunches and breakfasts.
Also Flower World. If you are into flowers this is the place.

From the Intersection of Hwy 2 and Hwy 522 turn onto Hwy 522
You will be going by the Echo Falls Golf Course.
Go 8.4 miles to the ParadiseLake. Rd. and Maltby Rd.
Turn here to go to Maltby Café and Flower World.
Turn Right and go 1 block to a T then turn Right again.
Go .02 tenths of a mile to a 3 way stop.
If you turn to the Left and go 2 blocks you will come to the Maltby Café.
Go straight ahead to go to Flower World, you are traveling North.
From here go .03 tenths of a mile to a Y in the road. Keep to the Left across the Railroad Tracks and you will be on Broadway St.
Go .07 tents of a mile and you will see Flower world on the Right.
Turn Right onto 196th St. and go .02 tents of a mile to the entrance to Flower World.
Now on to Woodinville and Mobaks.
Go back to Hwy 522 and turn Right and go 4.3 miles to the 2nd turnoff to the right, which is the Woodinville Redmond exit.
Go up to the Stoplight and turn Left across the freeway
Go .05 tenths of a mile and go under the Railroad overpass and turn Left at the light just under the RR overpass.
Go .04 tenths of a mile and Mobaks is on the Right.
For Shopping Woodinville has a new Shopping area just across the street from Mobaks.
Cost Plus, Target, Linen and Things, Eddie Bauer outlet, Barnes and Knobles and a Theater.
Monroe has a 12 plex Theater behind Fred Meyers.
Monroe Historical Society is downtown on Main street at 210 Main Street across the street from the 7-11.
