NOTE WORTHY PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE & ACTIVITIES
a) Participated in the revision and updating of the curriculum of the CAS, Organized by the FAO in 1988.
b) Giving a weekly -5 minutes- Television Extension
program for 3 months, directed for Poultry farmers
c) Designing of model poultry housing system for small scale poultry production.
d) Designing of model feeders waters and nests adapted to
tropical weather conditions with the objective of losses
reduction in terms of feed, water and eggs.
e) Production of teaching aids such as slides, transparencies and video films.
f) Adviser of Coral Hatchery Feed Processing Company.
Coral is the biggest hatchery and feed processing company
in Sudan and was engaged in foreign export of layer day
old chicks to Eritrea in 1992.
g) Two months Technical Consultancy mission (July and August 2001) at Al-thinayyan Ostrich Farm in Saudi Arabia, for construction of the breeder’s farm, hatchery unit, chick’s house and feed mill unit, as well as training the farm staff.
h) Modification of poultry incubator for hatching of ostrich eggs for the first time in Sudan at college of Agric. Studies, Sudan University of Science & Technology.

1. One rearing prefabricated house with pullet rearing batteries( 27,000 pullets capacity)
2. Three layer prefabricated houses with layer batteries(about 25,000 capacity each)
3. One eggs centralization chain conveyor to convey the eggs from the three layer houses to eggs collection room.
4. One backing machine
5. Feed Mill for the production of 10 tons per hour.

10. Feed Mill for the production of 10 tons per hour.

presented: How to reduce feed and egg losses in poultry
farms.
f) March 6 & 7, 1991, headed the steering committee of the
national symposium on problems facing the poultry industry
in Sudan, held at CAS in collaboration with FAO. Title of

1- Production cost analysis of one table egg in Khartoum state
of Khartoum, Sudan.
2- Comparative technical and economical appraisal of
importing commercial day old chicks (DOC) versus
parent stock DOC.
