Webinar Script – Example 02

This webinar script example is for a webinar with four presentations and five presenters. This script was used for the Water Treatment Committee’s “PFOA and PFOS in Arizona Drinking Water” webinar presented on 11/9/2016.

Before the webinar is started the Moderator must signed in to the GoToWebinar website, launched the webinar and completed the pre-webinar execution activities per the procedures listed in the “Webinar Management and Execution Procedures” document.

To execute the webinar the Moderator should follow the start/end webinar sequential steps detailed below.

After the webinar has ended the Moderator should complete the post webinar execution activities per the procedures listed in the “Webinar Management and Execution Procedures” document.

Start the Webinar

Start the Broadcast

For a scheduled webinar the Moderator (or Organizer) will need to start the broadcast so that the Attendees can see and hear the presentation(s).

If the Moderator (or Organizer) used the “Mic & Speakers“ option for their audio connection then click the ‘Start Broadcast’ button in the status pane located near the top of the GoToWebinar Control Panel to start the broadcast.

If the Moderator (or Organizer) used the “Telephone” option for their audio connection then press *1 on the telephone to start the broadcast.

Start Recording

If the webinar is going to be recorded then click the ‘Start Recording’ button on the GoToWebinar Control Panel.

Broadcast Script

The broadcast script is color coded italic text as follows:

·  Red – Instructions used by the Moderator to control the webinar via the Control Panel.

·  Blue – Script statements that do not change and used for every webinar.

·  Green – Script statements that must be customized for each individual webinar.

If this broadcast script is being used as a template for another webinar then this webinar broadcast script’s text statements shown in green font should be customized as necessary.

Webinar Introduction:

Good morning. Welcome to the "PFOA and PFOS in Arizona Drinking Water” webinar.

My name is Eric Kaupanger and will be the moderator for today's webinar. I am an engineer in Maricopa County Environmental Services Department’s Water and Wastewater Treatment Program. I am also the Chair of the AZ Water Association's Water Treatment Committee which is sponsoring today’s webinar.
