Who Is This Jesus?

A Prayer for Easter is Prayed Ephesians 1:18-23

A Fuller Answer is Presented

Jesus is the One who...

1. Had a Supernatural birth

Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, a virgin will be with child and bear a son, and she will call His name Immanuel. Isaiah 7:14

Now all this took place to fulfill what was spoken by the Lord through the prophet: 23“Behold, the virgin shall be with child and shall bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which translated means, “God with us.”

Matthew 1:22,23

2. Is an Amazing teacher

When Jesus had finished saying these things, the crowds were amazed at his teaching, 29because he taught as one who had authority, and not as their teachers of the law. Matthew 7:28,29

Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.’ John 14:6

3. Is a Miracle worker

Jesus was going throughout all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every kind of disease and every kind of sickness among the people.

24The news about Him spread throughout all Syria; and they brought to Him all who were ill, those suffering with various diseases and pains, demoniacs, epileptics, paralytics; and He healed them. Matthew 4:23,24

Jesus said to him, “Have I been so long with you, and yet you have not come to know Me, Philip? He who has seen

Me has seen the Father; how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’ ”? John 14:9

Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me; otherwise believe because of the works themselves.

John 14:11

Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.

2 Corinthians 5:17

4. Is the Savior of sins

She will bear a Son; and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins. Matthew 1:21

But He was pierced through for our transgressions,
He was crushed for our iniquities;
The chastening for our well-being fell upon Him,
And by His scourging we are healed.
6All of us like sheep have gone astray,
Each of us has turned to his own way;
But the Lord has caused the iniquity of us all
To fall on Him. Isaiah 53:5,6

5. Is the Resurrected Christ

For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, 5and that He appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve. 6After that He appeared to more than five hundred brethren at one time, most of whom remain until now, but some have fallen asleep; 7then He appeared to James, then to all the apostles; 8and last of all, as to one untimely born, He appeared to me also. 1 Corinthians 15:3-8

6. Is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords

That if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead,

you will be saved; Romans 10:9

For “Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.” Romans 10:13

And on His robe and on His thigh He has a name written, “KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.” Revelation 19:16

Whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father.

Colossians 3:17
