TOWNHOUSE: Trendy tiles for a naturally urban and sustainable look

With this international megatrend in mind, Villeroy & Boch Tiles has devised a new tile concept for walls and floors that responds to this search for natural materials in a special way. The TOWNHOUSE wall and floor concept, which combines nature with sustainability, makes it possible to create rooms in a balance that makes a sense of well-being a first-hand experience.
The high-quality slate design was transferred to a colour scheme that features muted hues of White, Beige, Grey and Anthracite. In this way, TOWNHOUSE lends a decidedly urban and at the same time modern natural appeal to freely designed rooms– a character underscored by the graphic 3-D borders, their colours and patterns harmoniously fitting in with the atmosphere of the room.
The TOWNHOUSE wall tiles are made from nonvitreous in the slim 20 x 60 cm large format. You can choose amongst Beige, Grey and White colours, each with a matt, smooth surface and sporting the easy-care ceramicplus finish.
The floor tiles are made from glazed vilbostone porcelain stoneware and available in the formats 60 x 60 cm and 45 x 90 cm. The tiles have a relief finish and provide R9 slip resistance. The colours Beige, Grey and Anthracite are produced as darker gradations of the wall tiles: calmly harmonious and at the same time understated-contrasting room designs can be created with lighter walls and a darker floor. 7.5 x 7.5 cm mosaics bonded to a 30x30 lattice are offered in all the colours, providing R9/A slip resistance and therefore making them perfectly suited for use in floor-flush showers.
Relief-effect borders are available in the three floor colours (Beige, Grey and Anthracite) in the format 10 x 60 cm for creating decorative designs on walls. A whole range of wall designs with a natural-modern effect can be achieved thanks to the expressive 3-D décor. Strip skirting for aesthetically sophisticated wall-floor connections rounds off the TOWNHOUSE concept.
TOWNHOUSE can provide a sophisticated and natural design not only for modern bathrooms but also for living areas. The slim format, that is used horizontally, the expressive slate structure and the perfect coordination of wall and floor tiles introduce an irresistible and authentically natural atmosphere to any room.
