Next week our diocese will take up the Peter’s Pence Collection, which provides the Holy Father with the funds he needs to carry out his most important charitable works. The proceeds benefit the most disadvantaged: victims of war, oppression and disasters. Your gift makes you a pilgrim of charity around the globe.
Vacation Bible School will run from June 17th-20th, 6:30-8:00 pm. Registration starts at 6:00 pm with a light dinner for students in the Parish Hall followed by music and instruction. If you would like to volunteer to assist in classes, please contact: Jeanette Saucedo at 579-6640.
All Vacation Bible School students are invited to participate on June 21st to decorate the float and ride in the Western Days parade on June 22nd,
Saturday morning.
Early registration for CCD will begin in July. There will be a $10 discount per student if enrollment is completed and paid for in the month of July.

La próxima semana nuestra diócesis realizará la Colecta Peter’s Pence, la cual le provee al Santo Padre los fondos que él necesita para llevar a cabo sus más importantes obras de caridad. Lo recaudado beneficia a los más desfavorecidos: a las víctimas de guerra, de opresión y de desastres. Su donativo lo convierte a usted en un peregrino de la caridad en el mundo.
Escuela Bíblica de Verano se desarrollará del 17 al 20 de Junio, 6:30-8:30 pm en el Salón Parroquial. La inscripción será cada día a las 6:00 pm con una cena para los estudiantes. Si quiere assistir de voluntario, favor de ponerse en contacto con Jeanette Saucedo en 579-6640.
Todos los estudiantes de la Escuela Bíblica de Vacaciones están invitados a participar el 21 de junio para adornar un carro y participar en el desfile de Western Days el 22 de Junio, Sábado por la mañana.
La inscripción temprana para CCD empezará en Julio. Habrá un descuento de $10 dólares por estudiante, si la inscripción ha sido llenada y pagada en el mes de Julio.
El Taller de 3 horas sobre Ética e Integridad en el Ministerio (EIM por sus siglas en Inglés) acerca del abuso sexual infantile en inglés (llamado anteriormente "Protegiendo a los Niños de Dios"), se llevará a cabo el 22 de Junio a las 9:00 am aqui en Sagrado Corazon. Este taller es parte de las normas diocesanas sobre Ética e Integridad en el Ministerio que se hicieron vigentes en Enero del 2002 y fueron revisadas en Agosto del 2008. Todos los miembros del clero, personal pagado y voluntarios que trabajan con jóvenes y adultos vulnerables de cualquier parroquia o área de la diócesis, están requeridos a llenar una solicitud, una sola vez, para el ministerio antes de comenzar su trabajo y/o labor de servicio y asistir a un taller de EIM dentro de 60 días de la presentación de su solicitud. Por favor confirme su asistencia a este taller poniéndose en contacto al
281-3536 (puede dejar un mensaje pero no le devolverán su llamada). Este clase es para toda persona que ayuda en los diversos grupos de nuestra parroquia, incluso personas que piensan ayudar con nuestra Fiesta 2013. ¡Por favor no traiga a sus niños a este taller de EIM!
