One of the FBI’s most wanted fugitives, ex-government agent Raymond “Red” Reddington or “the Concierge of Crime” as he is known in many circles, has decided to come in from the cold. His surrender and offer to help them catch his “blacklist” of criminals from politicians and mobsters to spies and terrorists is, of course, based on one a make or break condition. He will only talk to, and partner with, Elizabeth “Liz” Keen, an FBI profiler just out of Quantico.

In this classic story with a look to the future, Dracula arrives in London in the 1890’s posing as an American businessman who wants to expose modern science to Victorian society. Dracula has two goals with this trip to London. One is a key interest in the newest technology of electricity; after all brightening the evening sky would make his nightly outings a lot easier. The second is to exact revenge on those who crossed him centuries ago. Dracula’s plan seems to be on track until he meets a woman who appears to be a reincarnation of his dead wife.

That is until he meets Marcus, an 11-year-old boy who moves in next door with his crazy mother Fiona and disrupts his seemingly perfect life. When Marcus starts stopping by unannounced, Will isn’t sure what to make of it, but then he realizes that women find single dads very attractive. So Will and Marcus strike a deal. If Marcus pretends to be Will’s son, he can hang around. Before long, Will looks out for Marcus and a true friendship has begun. Based on the Nick Hornsby novel of the same name.

New Providence is the first functioning democracy in the America’s and is like no other place on earth. Those that sail to her shores do so at their own risk. In order to gain control of this formidable place, undercover assassin Tom Lowe is sent to destroy Blackbeard. But what he thinks is a cut and dry task, becomes more difficult when he realizes he admires Blackbeard’s political ideals. Even if Lowe has doubts about killing the infamous pirate, there are many other malevolent rivals who would do it for him.

Let the battle of the chefs begin when the best amateur cooks in America are pitted against six professional chefs from around the world. The home cooks will face off one by one against the professionals armed with only their signature recipe and three “culinary lifelines.” Both are tasked with making the same dish and the finished product will be sampled by a panel of judges in a blind taste test. If the amateur wins, they earn a cash prize and get to challenge another expert, increasing the cash prizes for each professional chef they beat. If the pro wins, the battle is over and a new amateur takes over the kitchen competition.
