About: / Pieta House provides a range of counselling services for people who are suicidal, engage in self-harm or who are bereaved by suicide. Pieta House also operates a national Freephone Helpline (1800 247 247) and a dedicated Research, Training and Advocacy office.We are committed to delivering our services with care and professionalism and continue to strive to ensure that we provide the best service for our clients.
Roles & Responsibilities / The role of the Clinical Support Administrator is to support the Managerin the running of certain aspects of the Centre’s daily activities.
This role will include, but may not be limited to the following:
- To assists the with managingwaiting list on a regular basis to ensure clients have been contacted with either an appointment, an offer of a holdover or a phone call to check in with them, to see how they are.
- To welcome and greet clients to the centre in a professional manner
- To liaise with therapists, clients and team members and communicate in an effective and timely manner.
- Must be highly organised and efficient when dealing with all aspects of the role.
- Must be flexible and willing to take direction from the manager in a busy working environment.
- Adheres to a set of core values and to the Vision, Mission and Values of Pieta, in good times and bad.
- Is always straightforward and impartial in dealing with others.
- Exercises good judgment about who to share information with when the level of confidentiality is unclear.
- Insists on integrity at all levels of his/her organisation.
Education, Skills & Experience /
- Possess excellent literacy, written, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must have an excellent, compassionate and caring telephone manner.
- Have strong and proficient computer skills, ideally have completed the ECDL course.
- Be proficient in using Microsoft office, Outlook, etc…
- Maintain absolute discretion in all aspects of the work.
- An ability to work on their own initiative and have a strong ability to work with a team of therapists as well as our Pieta clients and stakeholders.
- Be committed to working closely with the Manager to resolve together issues as they arise.
- Be interested in and demonstrate a belief and enthusiasm for the work of Pieta House.
- Experience in Salesforce CRM or similar database would be an advantage.
