Daffodils and Narcissi – These wonderful flowers boast hardiness, deer resistance, tolerant of full sun to shade and look as great in a vase as in the garden. Narcissus is the botanical name for all daffodils; therefore all daffodil are narcissus, but most people have come to use the term daffodil when talking about large trumpet shaped flowers and narcissi when talking about smaller cupped flowers.

Squill – Flowers are at the top of a slender naked stem. Each flower is about 1 inch across when fully open. Very cold hardy and flowers in the early spring.

Tulips – Tulip bulbs were once so valuable they were used as money! The tulip family offers a wide selection such as Kaufmanniana, Fosteriana, Darwin, Triumph, Single Early/Late, Double Early/Late, andthe list goes on. Most tulips do not naturalize but they will return year after year in the same bed. Some varieties are very popular and easily recognized while others are finding new fans after many years.
