Entry Fee: $150.00 per team to be sent to the address below by
Friday December 1st 2017. **Track Wrestling Event**
Seeding: 5 Match minimum. Those with fewer than 5 matches
will count as losses. Spring 2017 State Qualifiers will be
seeded first, others will be seeded by Fall 2017 record. Other
common sense criteria will be used with multiple state qualifiers.
Weight / Record Call-Ins: Fax or call no later than Noon Thursday December 7, 2017. If you have a match scheduled for Friday night, you need to let me know as soon as possible. Results from a Thursday or Friday Dec. 7th or 8.th match will not be figured into the seeding. Failure to get records in by noon Thursday will result in being seeded last in the tournament, no exceptions. We will use digital scales, no substitutions or changes on the day of weigh-ins. Records and seeding info will be entered through Track Wrestling by the coach. Coaches will be given a log in and password via e-mail. My e-mail Address is:

Invited Teams: Aycock, Ayden Grifton, Cape Hatteras, Cleveland, Corinth Holders, Eastern Wayne, Edenton Holmes, Greene Central, Heide Trask, Elkin, Holly Springs, Millbrook, North Pitt, North Johnston, Northeastern, Princeton, Richlands, Smithfield-Selma, South Brunswick, Southern Wayne, Topsail, Wilson Fike . Others will be added later. Remember 1st 15 contracts get the spots. Tournament was full before June last year.

You must return the included contract if you want to participate. I will only accept the first 15 teams that return the contract. This includes former participants, Wayne County schools, and teams we swap tournament entrances with. We had 22 teams last year and still got out before 8:00 pm. The event will be held in the Rosewood Gym and will be run on 3 mats as long as possible, including finals to be run on 3 mats. Also my schedule is wide open if you have openings in your schedule. Contact me as soon as possible for home or away scheduling. Do not wait until the Fall and expect to be included. This tournament was closed out by June last year.
Things to Consider: Fantastic Hospitality room, Great cross-section of 1A-4A Schools, Extremely competitive, Relatively local, 3 Mats, Every team is given all results and tournament statistics. ***Track Wrestling Event allows you to import results directly to your OPC instead of manual entry of each match!

County affiliation or mutual understanding. Schools agreeing to swap fees also need to commit in written form.

Contract for Participation in the 2017 Eagle Invitational
I, ______as the head coach of ______High School’s wrestling team hereby enter into contract with Rosewood High School for our participation in the Eagle Invitational Wrestling Tournament to be held on December 9, 2017 at Rosewood High School’s Gym in Goldsboro, North Carolina. We enter into this binding contract and agree to pay the entry fee of $150.00 to Rosewood High School by December 1, 2017 unless swapping entrance fees. Only after this contract is received will this team be considered a participant in the tournament. I understand that after we are considered to be a tournament participant, if for any reason we can not attend the Eagle Invitational, our entry fee can not and will not be returned. If the contract has been signed and received and the school decides not to attend before money has been sent by December 1, 2017, the school is still obligated to the entry fee of $150.00. If the Eagle Invitational Wrestling Tournament must be cancelled or postponed, all entry fees will be returned promptly and the contract will be void.
