Join us as we celebrate the diverse and memorable music of the Broadway shows. With songs from Broadway classics to contemporary hit shows there is sure to be something for everyone to enjoy either as a performer or as a listener. As well as shows remembered from the stage, such as iconic numbers by Rodgers and Hammerstein, Sondheim and Schwartz, featuring shows such as Carousel, Wicked, A Chorus Line, Hello Dolly! and Chess, there are also songs that have made the transition from charts to Broadway and vice versa.
We will run rehearsals in Cheadle Hulme and Bolton, subject to minimum numbers to make the groups financially sustainable and musically satisfying.
Signing Up
To ensure that this concert goes ahead we need a minimum of 100 singers signed up to the Cheadle and Manchester groups by April 1st. Please do not leave your application to the last minute, or wait to see if the concert is confirmed before sending your application. Payments will not be processed until we are able to confirm the concert, but we do need your commitment in the shape of your application form! You are able to register for this concert, simply visit and click ‘sign up to sing’. There is a simple form to capture your information and you will see an onscreen confirmation that your application has been registered. Payment details and a rehearsal schedule will be emailed to you once the concert is confirmed.
Programme
The programme includes many favourites from Broadway shows, all presented in brand new arrangements for this concert. The full programme is available online via espressivochorus.com and on Facebook. Printed copies of the programme are available in rehearsals for those of you currently in rehearsal.
Concert Dress
Concert dress will be black trousers, socks and shoes with a plain coloured top of any design.
Rehearsals
All rehearsals take place from 7.30 – 10pm. A full schedule of rehearsals, including details of the additional weekend rehearsals, will be sent to you with your confirmation and will be available from espressivochorus.com.

Fees
The full singing fee for taking part in the concert is £96-00. You can either pay this in full with your application or you may take advantage of our staged payments.
The fee includes your sheet music and rehearsal CD, all rehearsals and the concert itself.
Music and CDs will be available at the launch or the first rehearsal that you are able to attend. However, we appreciate that with the launch being in August people may well be away, so music can be posted out in advance of the launch if you wish for an additional £2-00.
Music and rehearsal tracks will also be available to download. If you choose this option a link to the download will be sent as soon as the music is available. Please note that if you choose this option you will not receive a physical pack at the launch.

Staged Payments
- A deposit of £30-00 sent with your application to secure your place – this will be processed on or just after the launch – 3rd May 2017
- A second payment of £30-00 to be paid by 1st June 2017
- A final payment of £36-00 to be paid by 1st July 2017
If you are paying in instalments by cheque please enclose all 3 post-dated cheques.

Declaration

After this time no refunds will apply. I acknowledge that the promoters of the concert have the right to cancel or amend the terms or content of the event should this become necessary.
I am currently in good health and acknowledge that performing in the group, both in rehearsals and the event itself can be physically demanding. I will inform the company in writing with this application, or later if the situation arises, of any injury or condition which may affect my performance and/or my ability to perform on any part of the stage – e.g. difficulties with stairs, standing etc.
