Freshmen End of Fall semester
1.Wake up, rise, shine and eat
2.Attend classes everyday
3.Know professors by name and carefully read class syllabus
4.Learn to access computer software and meet assignments deadline dates
5.Send campus Email alerts to cell phone
6.Create time to read, study and review
7.Visit an Academic Advisor beginning the first week of classes
8.Schedule appointment with Faculty Tutors and Peer Tutorssecond week of classes
9.Support campus events, athletic games and major departmental seminars
10.Adhere to campus rules, chain of command and classroom protocols
11.Clear balanceand/or make arrangements to pay debt
12.Complete Scholarships & FAFSA renewal application, if applicable
13.Avoid course repeats and withdrawals
14.Relax, inhale, exhale, call and text family members
15.Enjoy the college experience
Successfully complete and pass 15 credit hours
Spring

- Attend classes everyday
- See Academic Advisor on a weekly basis
- Find a mentor on campus (professor, administrator or staff member)
- Take advantage of Xtreme Spring option – one week term
- Take advantage of MayMester Summer option – three week term
- Take advantage of SUNsational Summer option – four week term
- Know how to calculate GPA and strive to maintain a 2.50 GPA or higher
- Begin understanding Degree Maps, Degree Works & Programs of Study
- Avoid taking classes that are not in major discipline
- Watch for alerts on Study Abroad opportunities
- Clear balance and/or make arrangements to pay debt
- Complete Scholarships & FAFSA renewal application, if applicable
- Summer School is available, if necessary
- Make time to volunteer and give back to the community
- Matriculate to next year
