OFSTED REPORT

All children have being given a copy of our recent OFSTED Report. I am pleased to announce we continue to be a good school. Thanks to all of you for your lovely comments. Our pupils were a credit to us all. A massive thank you to the RH Team.

STAFF CHANGES

Miss Cable will be leaving us on Friday 7th April. She has decided on a change of career. We wish her lots of luck.

Mrs Bowers has also decided not to return after her maternity leave. After over 12 years at our school, she really will be missed. I’m sure you’ll join me in wishing her lots of success and happiness. Enjoy those precious moments with Edith and Clarence. They’ll grow up far too fast!!!

Mrs Clark will continue to teach in Year 3 until the end of the Summer Term.

As soon as we have appointed a new member of staff to teach in Year 4, we’ll let you know.

RED NOSE DAY – FRIDAY 24th MARCH 2017

As part of our SMSC and Community agenda, each term, we raise money for a charity. The School Council have decided that this term they would like to support ‘Red Nose Day’. They have suggested that the theme should be ‘wear red’. Children can wear anything red. It could be a superhero costume, a strawberry, red socks, a red wig, painted red face, red bow, etc. Suggested contributions between 50p - £1. Many thanks.

PTFA – SUMMER FAYRE MEETING

A few members of our PTFA are eager to organise a Summer Fayre. To ensure the event is well organised and a success, we need to start preparing now!! We need as many people (old and new faces) to help as possible to make this event a great fundraiser for school. We are a small school with a very tight budget! Please help us.

If you can’t attend the meeting but have ideas you’d like to share, please email:- – with PTFA Summer Fayre Idea in the title box – and we will pass your ideas to the PTFA.
