Dear St. Helena Family,
On behalf of the Home & School Board, I would like to welcome you to the 2016-2017 school year at St. Helena School! The mission of the Home & School Association is to provide support to our school community as well as facilitate many activities, events, and duties that take place during the school year. A large part of the success of these activities and events at St. Helena School is the direct result of active and ongoing parent and family involvement.
A list of this year’s exciting Home & School Association events and activities is attached below! There are opportunities to match every interest and every schedule. Please take a minute to read over the list of activities on the event calendar and commit to participating in one or more activities. In addition to the volunteer sign-up that was emailed to you at the beginning of the school year, we also will be sending out event information, reminders, and an additional call for volunteers four to six weeks prior to each event. You can reference the Home & School area on the school website for more information. Our children and our school really need your support!

The requested fee is $20 per family. Please submit family dues with the above form by Friday, September 30 or bring them with you to Back-to-School Night. Collection envelopes will be available within each homeroom. Please include the slip above with your dues so that we can properly identify family’s payments. Back-to-School Night is Monday, September 19st and will begin promptly at 6:30pm. This night is designed for our teachers to articulate their education plans for the year to you. No homework will be assigned so that parents may attend this important meeting. This is a parent-only event and we hope to see you there!
