Annual Committee Goals:
·  To develop a coordinated, annually repeatable fundraising process.
·  To raise $100,000 with 75% parent/staff participation and 100% board participation.
·  Increase WIA brand throughout greater Atlanta community. / Progress Toward Goals:
·  Red Thread gifts and pledges over $42k and school-wide giving near $85k.

Agenda:
·  Anthony Chung shared good news from Kennesaw State Confucius Center: Will be sending 4-5 students from WIA to Beijing this summer, all expenses paid
·  Red Thread Matching Grant: Foundation has agreed to a $5k matching grant to finish Red Thread goal
·  Red Thread Finish Strong: Video kickoff will begin on March 23, Carpool week of April 10 and wrap-up donor event at end of April; Girl Scout Troop donating $100
·  Annual Report: “Here’s what we did this school year” to parents and to donors – produce over the summer (how many kids traveled, playground, annual giving, academic data, etc)
·  Community Mailing: we have not yet ordered the list, but the marketing collateral is prepared
·  GPPN (Grant Park Parents Network) Sponsorship: opportunities to raise brand awareness among Grant Park families
·  Mindfulness Grant: Received a grant for 2nd Step program. Just under $20k, and it’s a materials grant. It will bolster social and emotional learning, will address discipline from a more proactive stance, teaching student skills for success
