We are very pleased to inform You that the Belgrade’s specialized web-site Energyobserver.com has started preparations for the Fourth Energy Summit “The Balkan’s Energy Future: Renewable Energy Sources, Cogeneration, Nuclear Power Plants and Oil Pipelines”. The Fourth Energy Summit will be held in Belgrade on March 19 and 20, 2007, at the Inter Continental hotel, the Pacific lounge, beginning at 10 o’clock.
Due to the insufficient investment in energy sector, the citizens of the South East Europe region are threatened by darkness, and the lack of energy can lead to disturbance in economic development. One of the ways to ease the Balkan’s energy uncertainty is expansion of oil pipelines network, increase in renewable energy sources utilization and construction of nuclear power plants. The aim of the Energy Summit is to analyze the current situation and present projects regarding renewable energy sources, cogeneration, nuclear power plants and oil pipelines to potential investors.
The Energy Summit will be a unique opportunity of a joint meeting of the representative Ministries of the Balkan countries and interested companies from Russia, EU and USA for investing in these segments of the energy sectors of Albania, Macedonia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro and Romania.
