Writing a Works cited page

The first thing that you need to remember is that you will need all of the bibliographical information that you collected from your book source, encyclopedia and the internet. Based on what each bibliography requires, you have probably realized that the first piece of information that you need is the author’s last and first name. What you are going to do is alphabetize your sources by the last name of the author. Now, I know you are going to say, “What if we did not find an author for our source?” Good question. You then go to the very next piece of information in the bibliography, and no matter what source you are looking at, that is going to be what the author wrote (either the name of a book, and article in an encyclopedia or an article on a web site). Now that you know this, you are going to go to Microsoft Word and follow these instructions on how to write a correct Works Cited page.
