Executive Reports:
Treasurer – Kim Gross
· Association Account Update: Account is $49,631.00 as of October 31, 2014 & $40,000 in the GIC
· Budget comparison updated
o Ref Clinic: Lost $385.00, expenses were $564.00
o Halloween Havoc: Made $3100.00 compared to $900 last season. Great Job from the fundraising committee.
o Demo Derby: $8674.28 was the profit last season
o Player/Goalie Clinic:

o AG Membership Costs:
o Equipment Room Construction: $930.00
o Books are being audited
o Midget Team with New Sarepta/Tofield is being split 50/50 on costs to keep it fair. Player and Coach Registration/Insurance, ½ 1660 league registration to be calculated and invoiced to TMHA. Will be invoicing Tofield November 16th and payable in 30 days. November 15th is the deadline for player movement.
o Provincial Intent needs looked into by level directors. Submit all teams Atom and Above by January 1st. Teams are able to pull out if requested at a later date
Registrar – Cindy Lauer
· November 15 Deadline for roster changes
· Team officials HA registered report for team chargebacks due November 16, 2014. Over 7 rule (37.50/official), team invoices to be sent out December 1 and payable in 30 days. Coaches and Safety rep are the only ones who need carded.
· Respect in Sport is all up to date. Gold Star
· 1 new registration to Atom B and possible Prenovice player to come back
Level Directors:
Tom Noble/Rachel Gregor Stang
· Nothing new has recently come up
· Team Drill Book, keep encouraging teams to utilize this website. Bantams and Atom A are currently using this system
· Encourage 1660 affiliation with teams. Please review the rule book. Can move up only 1 level at all practices and games. Completed games is a maximum of 9 games not 10 as previously thought. Novice is a maximum of 5 games only. Provincials are a bit different with Hockey Alberta and 1660.
· Team Photographers – yearbook pictures, please encourage all teams to take pictures throughout the season
Player Development – Shawn Lauer
· Clinics: Midget date had to be changed due to illness. Pleased with the coaching staff at the clinics. Looking forward to hearing feedback
· Player Development Equipment
o New cabinet & lock are in progress
Coach Development – Andy Kellert for Cory Bowler
· Coach qualifications – review current team deficiencies (deadline Nov. 15)
o Working on getting criminal record checks completed along with Respect in Sport. Coaching Clinics and requirements have a November 16th deadline. Head coaches are required to be fully qualified
· Youth Coaches protocol has been established so older players can help out with younger teams at practices only
Ice Allocator –Andy Kellert for Jeremy Buote
· No known ice returns for September and October.
· Important to cancel ice in a timely fashion for away games and tournaments. Must get travel permits
Ref-in Chief/Ref Assignor – Darryl Holt/Cindy Lauer
· 20 /21 Referee’s attended the October 18th clinic. 7 were from outside of our association, 6 were new referees and 5 were senior refs.
· Important to keep a mutual respect between coaching staff and referees
Fundraising/Commitment Coordinator – Jennifer Charette
· Halloween Dance was good.
· Pizza forms went out and are due back November 25th
· 50/50 Progressive have been handed out and are due December 10th. It is very important to not lose this booklet
· Pub night is booked on February 7, 2015. Teams will be asked for team basket donations to help raise funds
Website/Communications – Tom Noble/Trish Galenza
· Association emails have been created and connected but not on website yet. Will be adding this feature to the website and launching it very soon
Ag Board Liaison – Shawn Lauer
· New mesh and Canada flags are up in the arena
· Music is needed in the time box – working on
· Time Clock/Shot Clock is now working properly
· There has been some recent writing on the walls of the change rooms. It is important to not have players unattended in these rooms, 2 adults should be present in change rooms at all times. Please keep an eye out and report any vandalism
1660 League Report – Matt Nordstrom
· Everything is working fine, learning curve on tiering. It would be good for the association to have people attend the tiering meetings
· Only teams not tiered yet is Novice A & B
Team Assistant Managers

New Business
· Game sheets have been ordered for exhibition games etc. Cost is approximately $80.00 but lasts a long time
· New Sarepta fan wear is located in the display case closest to the concession as well as a link on the website
· Scotiabank $1,000.00 grant paperwork has been submitted
· Esso medals have been ordered
· December 4 is Hockey Canada‘s birthday and are offering stickers that can be placed on helmets. These have been ordered
· Association pictures are being worked on
· Home Tournament permits and game sheets have changed – Jeff will email the teams
· Encourage teams to use existing trophies and add onto the plaques who won the tournaments
· Will be adding to the trophy case a way to recognize past and present executives
