Ixion Holdings (Contracts) Ltd is a limited by guarantee, not-for-profit organisation that is part of the £160m Anglia Ruskin University (ARU), delivering government funded provision since 1995. Ixion is an organisation with an exceptional track record and expertise in planning, setting-up and implementing complex service contracts particularly to challenging timescales.

Due to continued growth and Ixion’s success securing two major prime contracts from NOMS CFO(National Offender Management Service Co-Financing Organisation) co-funded by the ESFin the West Midlands and the South East of England (including Thames Valley). We are looking to recruit a Justice Director to drive the delivery of these contracts whilst looking to grow into new sectors of Youth Justice and Offender Learning and Skills.
Ixion, and our subcontractor partners, will support over 17,000 offenders; delivering high quality individually tailored support inside 17 prisons/ YOI’s and across 6 CRC (Probation Trust) areas.
As prime contractor, Ixion will oversee delivery of the contracts, by us and our partners, in custody and the community supporting people to overcome barriers and develop the resources and skills required to lead positive, productive lives. In doing so we’ll be promotingsocial inclusion to support the economy and to transform the lives of ex-offenders.

The ideal candidate will:

-Have a minimum of 3 years experience leading and delivering Justice / MOJ / ESF contracts in the UK

-Have a minimum of 3 years experience in stakeholder management of Justice / MOJ /ESF contracts in the UK

-Be able to demonstrate an excellent understanding of finance and managing financial success within complex contracts

-Have experience of delivering major Justice / MOJ budgets and KPI contracted outcomes

-Possess the personal confidence, industry respect and industry contacts within the Justice sector to “hit the ground” running and maintain that momentum for our CFO3contracts.

-Have a clear understanding of the strategic & delivery issues around Justice (NOMS & OLASS)

-Have the personal drive to be in the field meeting staff, clients, stakeholders and not tied to a desk

-Possess a strong track record of winning and managing the delivery of complex, preferably public sector, contracts encompassing tendering processes and business model development.

-Possess strong leadership capability able to deliver results consistently through others

-Demonstrate an understanding of the political arena in relation to public sector contracts

-Have a track record of delivering excellent performance, compliance and quality in the Justice Sector

-Be able to demonstrate an acute awareness of how to embed safeguarding practice within Justice contracts
