5. How long does it take to charge (averages)?
Answer: Three hours for full charge (level 2). EV get about 40 miles/charge

6. Who will move rental cars when street cleaning occurs twice a week?

Shuster Answer: Shuster Management will clean street by vehicles - no street cleaning necessary.

7. What kind of study performed to determine that 20 charging stations are needed?A quick look over charging spaces around the country and major cities 8-10 was the MOST at one site and very rare. Normal is two. Most are indoors and monitored by a parking garage service, none are on an urban public street - can you cite examples of other urban public street chargers? or in such high quantity?

Shuster Answer: Currently ten – six will be for “Car Share” EV – Four for public charging.
There will be only 20 b/c of a fire hydrant, and if the appropriate demand for “Car Share” exists, we can expect more of them with 160 First's completed construction, leaving at most 8-10 car sharing spots. If there is a lot of demand for public car charging, there will be more than the 8-10.

WHY CAN’T ADDITIONAL CAR SHARING BE PLACED IN 160 FIRST PARKING GARAGE? OR MOVE ALL INTO PARKING GARAGE., once it is complete?

8. Where other locations considered by the City of Jersey City? Does the city plan on adding these in other neighborhoods?
