Online Resource 1. Means (SE) by treatment combinations for late floral traits (measured in July). In multivariate analyses, there was a significant block effect for nectar traits and a significant damage × block interaction for morphology. Univariate analyses suggest block effects involved both sugar concentration and volume for nectar traits, while stigma exertion likely drove the block × damage interaction for morphological traits. Un = Undamaged treatment, Dam = damaged treatment. See methods for details on trait measurements and statistical models.

Online Resource 2. Means (SE) by treatment combinations for nectar nicotine, leaf nicotine and early floral traits (measured in May and June). For these traits, there was not a significant block effect in any analyses. See methods for details on trait measurements.
