School has been dismissed for the day and students are boarding buses for the ride home
or being picked up by a parent. A 6-year-old student is struck by a car and suffers
massive head trauma in front of everyone. Students, parents and staff are in shock.
Some are “frozen”, some are screaming for help, others are crying. The bus drivers are
not sure what to do about transporting students home.

The driver of the car that hit the student is a High School Junior who was picking up
his younger brother.
Emergency services personnel arrive, provide medical care and later pronounce the

Someone asks you what the school plans to do to help students, staff and parents.
