About the role(s)

We are looking for support staff to join our teams in Lambeth, Croydon and Bromley. As a member of the team you will be responsible for ensuring that our customers receive the best possible support whilst with us. We provide accommodation based services to a range of customers including young people, rough sleepers with complex needs, those with substance misuse issues and mental health conditions.

You will be responsible for:

  • Supporting all aspects of service delivery including customer engagement, partnership working with external agencies, day to day hostel operations, safeguarding and incident management.
  • Providing support to customers around accessing health and wellbeing opportunities including treatment and primary care services.
  • Supporting and preparing customers for living independently including life skills training.
  • Support the organisational roll out of our new asset basedsupport model.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • An understanding of the issues affecting homeless people and a commitment to supporting the needs and aspirations of homeless and vulnerable people
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to develop good working relationships with customers, colleagues and external contacts.
  • Strong communications skills, both verbally and written, and competent in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and a ‘can do’ attitude, proactively responding and adapting to change.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week – working on a rota across seven days a week, including bank holidays and weekends.
