1.1Country Specific:
1.1.1Pakistan Sheffield Scholarships 2014
We are pleased to offer the Pakistan Sheffield Scholarship 2014 to all Pakistani students starting a Taught Masters programme in September 2014.
The scholarships are:
- £1,000 each for students studying Nanotechnology courses (jointly run with the University of Leeds)
- £1,500 each for students paying fees between £13,390 - £15,410
- £2,000 each for students paying fees of £15,411 and upwards
Eligibility and Award Criteria:
- You must hold an offer of a study place and begin your postgraduate Taught Masters programme in September 2014.
- You must be an Pakistan national or permanently domiciled in Pakistan.
- You must be self-funding and classified as overseas for fee purposes.
- The scholarships will be awarded automatically - no application is required.
- The scholarships will take the form of a tuition fee reduction.
- The scholarships are for full-time and part-time students only. Students studying via Distance Learning are not eligible for the scholarships.
Pakistan Merit Postgraduate Scholarships 2014 (£7,000)
There are two Pakistan Merit Postgraduate Scholarship 2014, available for Pakistani students starting their postgraduate taught masters degree studies in September 2014.
The scholarship is worth £7,000 of your postgraduate taught masters degree tuition fee per year, for one year of study. The scholarships will take the form of a tuition fee reduction.
To be eligible for the Pakistan Merit Postgraduate Scholarship 2014, applicants must be a Pakistani national or permanently domiciled in Pakistan, apply for a study place by Friday 20 June 2014 and hold an offer of a study place for entry in September 2014.
The Pakistan Merit Scholarships 2014 are awarded on the basis of academic merit.
If you wish to be considered for this scholarship you need to apply. Eligible students will automatically be sent details of how to apply from January 2014 onwards.
Applicants cannot apply for the scholarship before being offered a study place at Sheffield.
The deadline for applications is Friday 27 June 2014; scholarship results will be announced Friday 25 July 2014.
1.1.2 Kaplan Eurasian Postgraduate Scholarship 2014
There is one Kaplan Eurasian Postgraduate Scholarship 2014. This scholarship is available for students starting their postgraduate taught masters degree in any faculty at the University in September 2014. The scholarship will take the form of a £5,000 tuition fee reduction for one year only.
To be eligible to receive a scholarship students must be self-funding and classified as overseas for tuition fee purposes, plus be a national of, or permanently domiciled in one of the following countries:
- Russian Federation
- Armenia
- Azerbaijan
- Belarus
- Kazakhstan
- Kyrgyzstan
- Moldova
- Georgia
- Tajikistan
- Turkmenistan
- Ukraine
- Uzbekistan
To be eligible, you must apply for a study place by 18 April 2014 and hold an offer of a study place for entry in September 2014.
The Kaplan Postgraduate Scholarship 2014 will be awarded on the basis of academic merit.
If you wish to be considered for this scholarship you need to apply to study at Sheffield. Eligible students will automatically be sent details of how to apply for a scholarship from January 2014 onwards.
Applicants cannot apply for the scholarship before being offered a study place at Sheffield.
The deadline for applications is Friday 25 April 2014. The results will be announced by 27 June 2014.
1.1.3 India Sheffield Scholarships 2014
We are pleased to offer the India Sheffield Scholarship 2014 to all Indian students starting a Taught Masters programme in September 2014.
The scholarships are:
•£1,000 each for students studying Nanotechnology courses (jointly run with the University of Leeds)
•£1,500 each for students paying fees between £13,390 - £15,410
•£2,000 each for students paying fees of £15,411 and upwards
Eligibility and Award Criteria:
- You must hold an offer of a study place and begin your postgraduate Taught Masters programme in September 2014.
- You must be an Indian national or permanently domiciled in India.
- You must be self-funding and classified as overseas for fee purposes.

India Merit Postgraduate Scholarships 2014 (£7,000)

1.1.4 Shared Commonwealth Scholarships 2014
There are four awards available for individuals with a strong academic background beginning their postgraduate study at the University in September 2014. Each award offers:
- A full tuition fee waiver
- Maintenance for University accommodation and a monthly stipend
- Flights to and from your home country
Applications for the Commonwealth Scholarships will be judged on academic merit and a personal statement. In your personal statement you should outline your personal goals and how studying at the University will help you achieve them.
The closing date for applications is 21st March 2014.
All eligible offer holders will be emailed details of how to apply for the Shared Commonwealth Scholarship from January 2014 onwards.

Eligibility Criteria:
1. You must hold an offer to study one of the following courses by 14th March 2014.
- MSc Environmental Change and International Development
- MMedSci in Advancing Practice
- MSc Speech Difficulties
- MSc in Molecular Medicine
- MMedSci Human Nutrition
- MPH Public Health*
- MSc Translational Neuroscience

2. Your mode of attendance must be full-time.
3. Receipt of the scholarship is subject to successfully meeting all the conditions of your offer before the deadline provided by the Admissions Service.
4. Receipt of the scholarship is subject to successfully receiving a visa to study at the University.
5. You must not have previously studied for one year or more in a developed country.
6. You must be a national of a Commonwealth developing country (see below) and not at present living or studying in a developed country.
7. You must confirm that you will return to your home country as soon as you complete your studies at the University of Sheffield.
8. You must confirm that you are unable to personally pay your tuition fees and maintenance costs.

We are pleased to offer theLatin America Sheffield Scholarship 2014 to Latin American students starting a Taught Masters programme in September 2014.
The scholarships are:
- £1,000 each for students studying Nanotechnology courses (jointly run with the University of Leeds)
- £1,500 each for students paying fees between £13,390 - £15,410
- £2,000 each for students paying fees of 15,411 and upwards
Eligibility and Award Criteria:
- You must hold an offer of a study place and begin your postgraduate taught masters programme in September 2014.
- You must be a South American, Mexican and Panamaniannationals or permanently domiciled in South America, Mexico and Panama.
- You must be self-funding and classified as overseas for fee purposes.
- The scholarships will be awarded automatically - no application is required.
- The scholarships will take the form of a tuition fee reduction.
- The scholarships are for full-time and part-time students only. Students studying via Distance Learning are not eligible for the scholarships.
1.1.6 The University of Sheffield Santander Postgraduate Scholarship 2014 (£5,000)
We are very proud of our association with Santander and their support for University of Sheffield students through their Santander Universidades scheme.
There are five University of Sheffield Santander Postgraduate Scholarships 2014. These scholarships are available for students starting their postgraduate taught masters degree in any faculty in the University in September 2014. Each scholarship will take the form of a £5,000 tuition fee reduction for one year only.
To be eligible to receive a scholarship students must be self funded and classed as overseas for fee paying purposes, plus be a national of, or permanently domiciled in one of the following countries:
- Argentina
- Brazil
- Chile
- Colombia
- Mexico
- Puerto Rico
- Uruguay
To be eligible, you must apply for a study place by 20 June 2014 and hold an offer of a study place for entry in September 2014.
The University of Sheffield Santander Postgraduate Scholarships 2014 will be awarded on the basis of academic merit and a short personal statement demonstrating an interest and passion in enterprise and entrepreneurship.
If you wish to be considered for this scholarship you need to apply to study at Sheffield. Eligible students will automatically be sent details of how to apply for a scholarship from January 2014 onwards.
Applicants cannot apply for the scholarship before being offered a study place at Sheffield.

We are pleased to offer the Singapore Sheffield Scholarship 2014 to all Singaporean students starting a Taught Masters programme in September 2014.
The scholarships are:

- £2,000 each for students paying fees of £15,411 and upwards

The University offers a range of scholarships for Nepalese students who show exceptional academic potential starting a postgraduate Taught Masters programme at the University of Sheffield in September 2014.
Nepal Sheffield Scholarships 2014
We are pleased to offer the Nepal Sheffield Scholarship 2014 to all Nepalese students starting a Taught Masters programme in September 2014.
The scholarships are:

Chevening Scholarships are the UK government's global scholarship programme, funded by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) and partner organisations. The Scholarships are awarded to outstanding
scholars with leadership potential. Awards are typically for a one-year masters degree.
Eligibility
