PRIZES, FORMAT, EVENTS, RULES

FORMAT: Double Round-Robin . 1st Round: All entrants will be grouped (6 per table) using “snake” system in accordance with the USATT Tournament Guide. 2nd Round: All players from the morning RR will play in an afternoon RR. The top 2 finishers from each of the eight tables will advance to the Open event. The next 2 players will advance to the A division, the next player to the B division, and the last player to the C division. All RR finish positions will be determined by Win/Loss records and approved tie-breaking procedures. Winners and runners-up in the afternoon round-robins will advance to play single elimination semi-final and final matches. All matches will be best of 5 games, Open Championship finals will be best of 7 games.

SCHEDULE: Play starts promptly at 9:00 am. Players must register not later than 30 minutes prior to start time. Players not on time may be defaulted. Pizza lunch included with entry fee. All finals should conclude by 7:30 PM.

EVENTS: Singles - Double Round Robin, (Max 48 players, 8 tables)

Tournament Director reserves the right to modify any event for reasons of insufficient participation.

Open Championship: 1st - $300 / 2nd - $150 / 3rd - $75 + trophies

“A” Division: 1st - $125 / 2nd - $75 / 3rd - $50 + trophies

“B” Division: 1st - $75 / 2nd - $50 + trophies

“C” Division: 1st - $75 / 2nd - $50 + trophies

EQUIPMENT: Only USATT approved equipment will be used.

Tables – 6 Butterfly Blue-top Centerfold 25 Sky and 2 Match Rollaway.

Nets - Butterfly sets.

Balls - DHS 3-Star White, 40mm

RACKETS: ITTF/USATT-approved, red & black top sheets, racket thickness and glue restrictions.

CLOTHING: The USATT Dress Code applies (No White Shirts!), uniform dark shirts recommended.

RULES: The Laws of Table Tennis according to published USATT regulations will be enforced. Legal service will be a point of emphasis. Playerswho fail tocomply with current USATT regulations or who exhibit ‘Red Card’ behavior (excessive bad sportsmanship, cheating, etc) will be warned; if subject behavior continues, the player may be disqualified and expelled from the tournament without refund.

DEADLINE: Friday, November 16, 2012—5:00 PM. Entry fees must accompany entry form.

REFUNDS: Cancellations prior to Thursday November 15, 2012 will be refunded. “No Shows” without notification will not be refunded. Late medical cancellation refunds are at the tournament directors’ discretion and will be conditional upon finding a replacement player.

From the East or West, take Interstate 10 and turn South on HWY 85 in Crestview. Take the Hwy 123 shortcut to FWB (Bypassing Niceville), and continue South on Hwy 85 (Eglin Pkwy) all the way to Hwy 98 in Fort Walton Beach. Turn West (right) onto Hwy 98 and go 1 block then right again, (North) on Beale Pkwy. Continue North on Beale approx 1 mile to the first light and turn left on Hollywood Blvd. On Hollywood, bear to the right after approximately 2 blocks onto Jet Dr. Proceed on Jet Dr approx 2 blocks thru a 4 way stop sign, then another block and the rec center is on the left.
