The Strategic Role of Business Analysis for Project Success

Course Overview:

The class is an overview of the importance of Business Analysis for successful delivery. The class provides insight into the Business Analysis Domains and how they relate to successful implementation of the System Development Life Cycles for Predictive, Incremental and Adaptive frameworks.

Course Objectives:

1. Instruct participants in the five PMI Business Analysis (BA) Domains and Tasks.

2. The participants learn how the BA Domains and resulting artifacts are developed whether in an Waterfall or Agile project development environment.

• Review BA artifacts that may be developed during project execution and how they lead to successful design and development of the Solution.

• Provide rudimental exercises for hands-on experience for participants to develop some key artifacts.

3. Summarizing the integration of the Business and Solutions Domains. Making it all work together.

Audience: Project Managers, Scrum Masters, QA Analysis, any project team member interested in the subject matter

Class Schedule: This is an 8-hour seminar that will be conducted on Saturday, April14thfrom 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Lunch will be provided.

She has been a presenter at a number of conferences including the Conference Board’s CIO’s Council of Canada.
