Tsunami 1 & 2 Meet schedule and guide for 2014-15 season.
Reminder to all – you must compete in meets we are WAAC not just a practice team. Swimmers who are just high school session you need to get signed up for our early season meets.
This is a calendar with suggestions ! In our T1 & T2 groups we have many levels of swimmers. Bronze – Silver – Gold so you need to check list and make a season plan. As always if you need help – have questions please talk to the coaches. We have told the Tsunami swimmers to take an active part in entering meets and not just have Mom or Dad do them. We want them thinking and planning toward their goals.
Oct 4/5 > Open Meet @ Woodland Hills / ALL should enter.
Oct 25/26 > distance meet @ West Mifflin / check our meet to follow this one – if you can swim distance events at out meet – do that – if not ok to sign up for this one.
Nov 1 / 2 > Bronze Level Meet (B & slower) @ West Allegheny
All who qualify should sign up – and plan to help work this meet.
Nov 7/8/9 > WVU Meet - Open all swimmers eligible. If you plan to attend Braun – you may skip WVU – all others should try to attend.
Nov 21/22/23 > Braun Meet @ SPHIRE CENTER Geneva Ohio (A times)
This is a great meet and facility to plan to go to and swim fast. It will most likely involve overnight so plan ahead.
Dec 6/7 > Bronze @ Pine Richland / if you need to get some U.S. times for IMX meet or just get some times period sign up.
Dec 11/12/13/14 Pitt Christmas Meet / A & faster
High School swimmers communicate with your coaches. WAHS swimmers ok for 1 or 2 days. Younger swimmers who qualify should go
Jan 10/11 > IMX challenge at MOON / you must swim all events in your ge group at this meet. Good challenge !
Jan 17/18 > Bronze @ South Park (B & slower) ok to attend WAHS swimmers you will be at York Meet this weekend.
Jan 24/25 > Silver @ Bethel Park (BB times) ok to enter
Jan 31 – Feb 1 > Mini Meet & Distance Meet @ West Allegheny

Feb 6/7/8 Gold Meet @ Moon / Prelim – Finals Meet for 11 & ups
Feb 14/15 Bronze Championships @ Woodland Hills (B & slower) OK High schoolers this is MAC weekend.
Feb 20/21/22 > Silver Championships @ Char-Valley (BB champs)
Prelim and finals 11 & up / 10 & under timed finals
Feb 28 – March 1 > Mini Champs & HS special / as time gets closer we can take a look at HS special – but for now ???????
March 7/8 Single Age @ South Fayette ages 9 – 14 only / ok to enter
March 12/13/14/15 Gold Championships @ Univ. of PGH
This is age group champs / it is also same weekend as HS States
8th grade and under & swimmers who don’t make states – attend.
Zone & Sectional Meets
March 19 – 21 > Short Course Sectionals
South Meet @ Virginia Tech / Christiansburg VA
North Meet @ Syracuse / Ithica NY
We will most likely go North !
March 26 – 28 > Zones @ Rochester NY
Long Course Sectionals @ Buffalo
Hopefully most of your goals include Zones or sectionals.
