Player Retention Scheme:

From Season 2016 onwards every child aged 13 and under registered at the club for the season prior will be offered a place at the club the following season. All children will still be required to attend trials but without the pressure and anxiety of having to compete and worry if they will be good enough to be selected and whether they will play football for Panthers the following season.

Trial Information:

Children musttrial in their own age group at the first trial. SAPFC accepts that on occasion a child is better suited to play outside of their age group and will take this into consideration. Please advise the Technical Director, Tom Monsigneur at if you wish your child to be considered for a team outside of their age group.

Players offered positions in JPL teams will continue to be developed in an enjoyable and fun environment however as the level of competition increases so do SAPFC's expectations of players selected to play at this level. Game time is harder to earn and attitude and application have been identified by the Club as part of the pre-requisites.

Players unable to attend trials must advise the Technical Director, Tom Monsigneur at prior to the commencement of the trials.

SAPFC encourages the movement of players across teams within the club. Mostplayers will stay within their own team for the majority of the season, but players and parents should be aware that the club may at times look to move players from team to team.

SAPFC believes movement of players is a great incentive and enables players to be rewarded for applyingSAPFC’sValues and Expectations which include Success, Attitude, Passion, Football and Community as well as rewarding them for their application and coachability as well as theirplaying ability.

With this in mind players and parents should consider when trialing with SAPFC they are not simply trialing for a place within a team but for a place within “THE CLUB”.

Under 6 to 11 (mini roos)

This age group play in a non-competitivecompetition therefore this is a “Come and Try” session rather than a trial. 1st TouchRunning with the ball

1 v 1Striking the ball
