TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF RIGHTS OF WAY
THE NOTTINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (HAWTON BRIDLEWAY NO.6 AND BALDERTON FOOTPATH NO.11) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION) CONTINUATION ORDER 2016
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Nottinghamshire County Council HAS MADE an ORDER, under Sections 14 and 15(8) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be:
To continue the effects of THE NOTTINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(HAWTON BRIDLEWAY NO.6 AND BALDERTON FOOTPATH NO.11) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITIONS) NOTICE 2016.
That Notice came into force on‘1st February 2016’
The effects are that:-
No person shall:-
(a)proceed on foot,
(b)cause any pedal cycle to proceed,
(c)cause any horse to proceed,
(d)cause any animal to proceed
in the following length of bridleway at Hawton in the District of Newark and Sherwood:-
Hawton Bridleway No.6, from grid reference SK 801515 to grid reference SK 800510, a distance of approximately 455 metres.
And no person shall proceed on foot in the following footpath at Balderton in the District of Newark and Sherwood:-
Balderton Footpath No.11,between grid reference SK 803512 and SK 806514,
a distance of approximately 480 metres.
IT IS INTENDED that the prohibition respecting the above highways will apply as follows:-
To 31st July 2016 inclusive.
The Continuation Order will come into force on22nd February 2016and any prohibition contained in the continued Order shall apply on that day and on any subsequent day or days when it shall be necessary for the prohibition to apply to enable works to be carried out and the Order shall continue in full force until the works it is proposed to carry out are completed (within a maximum period of 6 months from the date that the notice came into force).
The prohibition is requiredfor construction of the Newark Southern Link Road
