Friday, Feb.5

A mid-morning departure from New London and Old Saybrook for the pier in New Jersey to board Royal Caribbean’s “Explorer of the Seas”.

Saturday, Feb. 6

A little cool outside today so it’s a great day to do the indoor pool or ice skate and oh! so much more on our ship.

Sunday, Feb. 7

Warmer today as we’re off the coast of Florida. Take in more of our ship and sunbathe at the outdoor pool.

Monday, Feb. 8

We’re in San Juan from 4:00pm until 11:30pm. You’ll want to visit Old San Juan and take in Morro Castle, a great historic fort.

Tuesday, Feb. 9

Now it’s the famous shopping capital of the Caribbean, St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands from 8:00am to 530pm. Not a shopper??…you may want to beach it at one of the 10 most beautiful beaches in the world, Magens Bay or visit Coral World, Mahogany Run, etc..

Wednesday, Feb. 10

At Samana, Dominican Republic from 8:00am to 4:00pm. You can ride a speedboat through the mangroves of Los Haitises National Park, an awe-inspiring bird sanctuary; then explore the island’s fascinating cave system. Also you may want to visit the 19th century La Churcha, the whale museum, and the popular Las Terrenas, home of enticing shops and atmospheric cafes.

Thursday, Feb. 11

From 9:00am to 5:00pm at Labadee, Haiti. You can soar 500 feet above this beautiful island on a parasailing ride or paddle through the enchanting Bay of Labadee on a kayaking tour.

Friday, Feb. 12

Still in warm weather as we start to head north. You can still sunbathe or rock-climb if you’re up to it.

Saturday, Feb. 13

Now reality is setting in as cooler weather sets in. You can still use the indoor pool. This is our last full day so just relax and enjoy.

Sunday, Feb. 14

We’re due back at our pier in New Jersey about 8:00am. We’ll prepare to leave the ship about 9:30am for our motorcoach to return us to Connecticut.

A deposit of $250 per person is due in order to hold reservations. Final payment is due Nov. 20, 2009. The deposit is fully refundable until Nov. 20, 2009. From Nov.21 to Dec 31, 2009 the cancellation penalty is $250 person. On Jan. 1, 2010 the cancellation penalty increases to 50% of the total fare paid until Jan. 25. After Jan. 25 there is no refund, for this reason we highly recommend cancellation, interruption and medical insurance. Premiums are based on your age and total cost of your trip.
