COSTUME

Enter your Halloween or any other costume you’ve made in this category. Many 4-H members make their Halloween costumes and this is your chance to show them off. Members will be judged and awards will be given. Members will wear their costume in the Public Review for everyone to see. You must submit this registration form with a narrative by April 8th.

COSTUME – READY TO WEAR

Enter a costume you put together but did not sew. Be creative and show off your style. The costume will be worn in the Public Review and compete for a People’s Choice Award.

DUCT TAPE FASHION

Did you know you could make clothing and other fun items out of Duct Tape? For inspiration, check out the following websites: www.ducttapefashion.com and www.octanecreative.com/ducttape/fashion/. These sites can help get you started. Members will be judged and awards will be given. Members will model their creations in the Public Review for everyone to see. You must submit this registration form with a narrative by April 8th.

INTERNATIONAL CLOTHES

Make or model clothes with an international focus. Learn about the clothes and the country. This category allows you to share another culture.

REPURPOSE/REDESIGN

This class allows you to repurpose or alter clothing or textile items and show off your work. Members will be judged and awards given. Your item(s) will be worn in the Public Review or displayed.

CLOVERBUD CLASS

This class is designed to allow Cloverbuds to share and/or model items they have sewn or purchased. Cloverbuds can also sign up for the other categories.

EMBROIDERY – KNITTING – CROCHET

This class is for items that members have made in their embroidery, crochet or knitting project that can be worn. Members will do an interview and model in the public review. Items can also be entered into the display category.

NARRATION

The Showcase narrator will need to read a narration for your item. Remember, someone else is reading your narration, so use complete sentences and write in third person, such as "Sarah is modeling ...... ", rather than, "I am modeling .....” You could include information about the item, fabric, why you chose this item, name, age, club, hobbies and interests, school, etc. You can write or type your narration and attach it to this form.

Also, please include a picture of each entry.
