Mini Classes

Come learn a new technique or project with us. Class fees include the fabric kits and supplies. Sewing machines and other tools that are required will be provided. Pre-registration is required to guarantee your spot. If the class is not filled, walk-ins will be accepted. All classes will be held at the Quilt Show which is located at the Otto Center 1/2 mile South of Arthur. All classes will be taught by Quilt Show Committee Members. The cost for each class is $7.00.

9:30-11:30 Apron and Hot Pads. Make an attractive cotton apron with a neck strap and a pocket. The hot pad can be used as a table decoration or as a quick little gift for a friend. You will be a star in your kitchen.

1:00-3:00 A Very Quick Baby Quilt. By the end of this class you should have a finished baby quilt. It is a quilt as you go project so even the quilting will be done. Another possibility is to take it home and make it bigger using the technique you will learn in class. Cutting and preparation will be done for you. All you have to do is come in and sew it together.

9:30 - 11:30 Reversible Purse. Learn to make this adorable reversible purse and you can have a purse to match every outfit.

1:00 - 3:00 Hourglass pillow with overlapped backing and rick rack. Freshen up the look of your home with new pillows. The overlapped backing allows you to remove the pillow cover for washing. The pillow form is not provided.
