The Second Half 2008 Leadership Award

This Leadership Award will be presented to FOUR firms who resell IBM software. The recognition will be based on nomination by the IBM channel sales team, including the distributor channel sales team. Any firm who resells IBM software in the United States and/or Canada can be nominated. Award winners from the nominated reseller firms will be selected by IBM management.

Winners will be resellers whose 2nd Half 2008 efforts contribute to IBM’s growth in new license software sales. In order to be considered for eligibility, the reseller must have contributed to the sales of IBM workstation software in the 2nd Half of 2008. Awards will recognize winners in the following categories:

1) Resale activity growth in General Business accounts

2) SVI activity and/or transaction growth

3) VAP activity and/or transaction growth

4) Marketing Excellence Leadership Award (Awarded to the Business Partner who shows the most growth in quality co-marketing pipeline (Validated Lead Revenue) and a demonstrated ability to convert those opportunities to IBM Software wins.)

Criteria for leadership awards include the following:

Contribution - business growth in the sale of new license IBM workstation software products

• Value add - active participation in IBM workstation software value add programs, VAP and SVI

• Commitment - investment in IBM workstation software as indicated by IBM SW certifications within the five major SW brands

• Competition - significant competitive wins or competitive share gain

Exemplary customer satisfaction

Leadership Award winners will attend the 2009 Fast Track North America IBM Business Partner Recognition Event, to be held in the Spring of 2009. FOUR winners will receive an invitation for one Business Partner attendee (selected by the firm) and one adult guest. Selection of the winning IBM Business Partner firms is at sole discretion of IBM. Winners will be announced mid-1Q 2009.
