Clubs and Teams

Leadership Team

All members of the Premier Karate staff are graduates of the leadership team program. You can recognize members of the leadership team by their distinctive arm band patches that they wear when they help in classes.

·  Students must be committed and focused and must be invited by Mr. O’Neill to join the LT.

·  LT is by invitation only and is open to Blue belts and above who are at least 9 years old.

·  LT members also undergo extensive leadership training (learning styles, motivation techniques, public speaking, etc.) that will help them succeed in any leadership position they attain in school, work or community.

·  LT members receive training on how to teach the Premier Karate curriculum.

·  The first level of the LT is called the Super Team of Role Models (STORM) team. The second level of the LT is the Dedicated Enthusiastic Loyal Teaching Assistants (DELTA) team. Graduates of the DELTA team are eligible to apply for teaching positions at Premier Karate.

Black Belt Club

Black Belt Club is for students that are committed toward earning their black belt and want to experience more advanced training beyond what is offered in our foundation program. Here some important details about the BBC.

·  Students must be committed and focused and is by invitation only to TKD yellow belts and above.

·  BBC members get to wear a special BBC patch on their uniform

·  BBC members can attend the Saturday BBC Specialty class which give students more exposure to

o  Sparring

o  Forms (creative , dynamic, musical)

o  Trapping and ground survival

o  Weapons (Bo staff, sword, etc.)

o  Advanced self-defenses, MMA techniques, etc.

·  15% discount on items select items ordered from the Century Catalog.

Demo Team (Demonstration & Competition – Team DC)

Competing in tournaments and performing in public are purely optional at Premier Karate. Team DC is for students who want to perform in demonstrations and/or compete in tournaments.

·  Students must be committed and focused and must be invited by one of their instructors to join the Demo Team.

·  Demo Team is by invitation only and is open to high yellow belts and above.

·  Demo Team members get to wear a special Demo Team patch on their white uniform

·  Demo Team members also get to wear the Red Demo Team uniform

·  Demo Team averages 4 to 6 practices per month in demonstration and competition techniques.
