CONSTITUTION FOR FALUN DAFA PRACTICE GROUP AT THE OHIOSTATEUNIVERSITY
PREAMBLE:
The purpose of this group is to promote the high ideals of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance, which we believe to be the fundamental characteristics of the universe.
ARTICLE ONE:
All practitioners associated with this group should strive diligently to conduct themselves according to the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance at all times.
ARTICLE TWO:
All practitioners associated with this group shall abide by the right and just rules and regulations of the OhioStateUniversity, the State of Ohio, and the United States of American at all times.
ARTICLE THREE:
Falun Dafa is open to all peoples equally, with no conditions regarding demographic or socioeconomic characteristic. This organization and its members shall not discriminate against any individual(s) for reasons of age, color, disability, gender identity or expression, national origin, race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, or veteran status.
ARTICLE FOUR:
The offices of President and Treasurer will be filled from the ranks of the participating practitioners by secret ballot.
- The President shall be responsible for organizing practice sessions and overseeing activities which are open to the public.
- The Treasurer shall be responsible for the use of any funds which the organization may have and will keep records and give a full accounting regarding these funds.
Officers can be removed by a majority vote.
ARTICLE FIVE:
Any proposed amendment to this Constitution shall be put into writing and subsequently acted upon by participating practitioners.
ARTICLE SIX:
If this organization at the OhioStateUniversity is dissolved, any remaining funds which came from the University shall be returned to the University.
ARTICLE SEVEN:
Any student member of this organization violate the student conduct code of the Ohio State University may be removed from the organization after thorough discussion among the rest of the members.
BYLAWS FOR FALUN DAFA PRACTICE GROUP AT THE OHIOSTATEUNIVERSITY
ARTICLE ONE:
The organization and conduct of this group shall proceed according the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance as implemented according to the understanding of its practitioners.
ARTICLE TWO:
Any proposed amendment to these Bylaws shall be put into writing and subsequently acted upon by participating practitioners.
