REQUESTING USE OF FACILITIES:

Please complete the Facility Use Request Form and return it to the receptionist in the PastoralCenter. Copies of the Facility Use Request Form can be obtained at the receptionist desk in the Pastoral Center or on the Mission Parish website

PRIORITY LEVELS FOR FACILITIES USE:

  • Level One:Parish Catechetical Ministries, Pastoral Council, Finance Committee,

Mission Basilica School, Liturgical Ministries, Music Ministries

  • LevelTwo: Parish Groups (i.e. Knights of Columbus, Legion of Mary, prayer groups, Jovenes, etc.)
  • Level Three:Outsidegroupsand events. (Approval by Pastor)

USAGE:

Pastoral Center M – F: 9:00 am to 8:30 pm; Saturday/Sunday when available.

Gym When available.

Parish CourtyardWhen available.

ENTRANCE:

Mission Basilica School is a closed campus. During the school day, enter through the pastoral center reception area and sign in at the reception desk. Saturday and Sunday and after 6 PM during the weekdays, access is available through the pastoral center or side gates, unless otherwise indicated. Pastoral Center elevator access is available from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm. (Due to anonymity, Alanon is not required to sign in.)

SET UP/TAKE DOWN:

Your group is responsible for your set up, take down, and clean up.

Room A in the Pastoral Center is set up as a conference room. Do not move the tables and chairs.

Rooms B, C, E & F are set up with four round tables (and chairs). Please return the room to this configuration at the end of your event.

Room D is an open space. Please return all tables and chairs to the storage closets.

KEYS AND SUPPLIES:

Sign in and sign out with the Pastoral Center receptionist.

If keys are signed out, they must be returned to the PastoralCenter. If the receptionist is not available, please place the keys in the donation box/slot located at the front door of the Pastoral Center.

RECEPTIONIST:

The Pastoral Center receptionist is available from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm Monday through Friday during school year. 9 am to 9 pm during summer (mid June – mid August)

DEPOSITS:

Outside groups and events must secure the facility with a $250 fee per event to cover cost of mandatory insurance and facility use. Fifty dollars ($50) will be returned if the facility is clean and returned to its original order and keys are returned.

SECURITY:

Security is on duty from 8:00 am to10:00 pm. Evening/weekend phone number is (949) 466-4180.

If you are leaving earlier than your specified time, contact security and let them know that you are leaving and that you have locked up.

SAFETY:

Safety is always a primary consideration. If you become aware of any safety hazard, report it immediately to Security at (949) 466-4180. If there should be an accident, it must be reported to a staff member or security within 24 hours. In case of an emergency, call 911.

CHILD CARE:No child care is provided.
