SCHOLARSHIP GUIDELINES

Please answer all questions and type your response whenever possible. Only complete applications will be considered. Scholarships will be awarded for an educational track, and not for individual sessions. Please note scholarships are available for registration fees only. Scholarship candidates are limited to applying for one scholarship in one track per year. The applicant may choose to apply for either the National Conference-Las Vegas program, or the November Orlando program, but not for both. Applicants who select more than one program will not be considered. Scholarships are non-transferable and may only be used for the session offered.

NAEA Education Foundation Anonymous Selection Process

Please note that this is an anonymous selection process; any inclusion of identifying personal or geographic information beyond the contact information section may disqualify your application. For example, feel free to mention that you have served for three years as president of your local chapter. Do not mention the specific state that you have served. NAEA will keep the first page of this application and assign an applicant number. The Education Foundation Trustees will award scholarships based on the substantive (and anonymous) portion of the application.

Deadlines

The application for National Conference - Las Vegas scholarships is due at the NAEA office by 5:00 pm EST Tuesday, May 28, 2013. The application for the November Orlando (Level 1 & 2 only) program is due Friday, September 20, 2013. Late applications will not be considered.

Scholarship notifications for the National Conference will be emailed no later than June 25, 2013. If you prefer to register for the National Conference, before notification and are awarded a scholarship, the amount of your award will be refunded to you. Please keep in mind that the deadline for early-bird, discounted registration for the National Conference is July 5, 2013.

I have read all of the information and the requirements contained herein and agree to abide by them.
