  3. Teachers have some complaints for cafeteria water bottles left in classrooms, trash excess
  4. Teachers can inform students, remind student to not “horseplay” after breakfast and lunch during walk with water…if disruption continues, privilege can be removed
  5. Committee Decision: yes to water and candy (candy bought by teacher only)
  6. Will begin trial time until next meeting for reports about process
  1. Elementary has 10 point grading scale, students request 10 point scale

  9. Assists others to follow curriculum if needed
  10. Identify critical components needed for map
  11. Teacher Academy participants have information that could be included, embedded during year (FUTURE AGENDA ITEM…Agenda for next time)

  • Suggestion for small meeting, with sub in classrooms, while we meet with Ramona to create maps for content
  • Common Core implementation, standards, etc. examples needed from other Deaf Schools, Hearing Schools to compare and create to fit KSD
  1. FUTURE AGENDA ITEM…Define Formative Assessment
  2. Walkthrough done, but formative assessment was not documented although students were questioned during activity
  3. There needs to be an understanding of what is expected due to our small population, it looks different
  4. Data driven, teachers need data to show growth in student population
  5. Standardized assessments based on Quality Core (EOC) and not common core that is being taught mostly. NGSS not tested for high school, middle school unsure of testing format and therefore many science teachers in high school are using Quality Core standards.
