Information for all weeks:
Welcome to Fairwinds Farm!
We are very excited about our Day Camp program this year! We have some great activities planned along with riding every day. Please read the following information so you’ll know what to bring and how to dress.
1. Bring your own lunch. We have a refrigerator for bagged lunches and drinks. We also have a water cooler, but if you want any other beverage you must bring it with you.
2. Bring a plain white t-shirt with you by Tuesday with your name inside the collar. This will be used for arts and crafts later in the week.
3. Wear LONG PANTS and shoes or boots with hard soles and a small heel. You may bring shorts and sneakers for the lunch break. T-shirts are fine for all day. Don’t forget sunblock!
4. Riding helmets will be worn during all mounted instruction. We will supply a riding helmet, but if you have your own, please bring it.
5. Our camp Horse Show will be held on Friday beginning at 12:15, followed by a barbecue for family and friends! The festivities end around 2:00, at which time campers are expected to go home with parents unless special arrangements are made.
7. JoAnn will do a book signing of her books from the Lucky Foot Series for anyone who would like to purchase a book. Books will be for sale at the bbq for $7 each.
8. Extended hours are available at $8.00/hr. Please note on your application if you need this service. Hours are limited to one hour before camp and one hour after. (8am - 5pm)
9. A NON-REFUNDABLE deposit of $50.00 and a signed application form including health form and waiver of liability must be received before your week of camp. Incomplete forms and/or waivers may prevent camper from riding.
CAMP HOURS: MONDAY-THURSDAY 9:00 am - 4:00 pm FRIDAY 9:00 am – 2pm
