How to Cope with 4 TD Motor Lock
In times of either auto clamp force setup or stamper exchange, the mold height lock up and the
4 TD motor cease to move. In this case the following alarm is displayed.
1569 / ? Mold height 1 servo amplifier error 10 . ?1570 / ? Mold height 2 servo amplifier error 10 . ?
1571 / ? Mold height 3 servo amplifier error 10 . ?
1572 / ? Mold height 4 servo amplifier error 10 . ?
When the mold height does not move in <PREPARARION> mode, please cope with that
according to the following < Procedures >.
< Needed tools >
・Hexagonal wrench (4mm, 5mm, 14mm)
< PROCEDURE
- Call the [4TD] screen.
- Search for where the actual value of mold height is the largest .
( REAR LOWER is the largest here.)
The axis where actual value of mold height is the largest might be not same as the axis where
alarm is displayed.
3. Detach the toggle cover at the end portion.
4. Loosen the bolts of the gear pressplate where the actual value isthe largestidentified in the step 2 above about two turns. (Loosen the bolts of the lower anti-operation side here.)
5. Let the mold height retract about 5mm in <PREPARATION> mode.
(Make checks while looking at the actual value with the [4TD] screen.)
Unless the mold height moves, return to the step 2, search for where the actual value of mold
height is second largest, and after loosening bolts of the gear press plate likewise, let the mold
height retract once again.
In case it does not move even by doing so, loosen all the nut pushing bolts, andthereafter let
the mold height retract.
If it does not work even after the bolts of the gear press plate at 4 positions are loosened, there
is a possibility of another defect. Please contact our service engineer.
6. After confirming that the mold height has retracted, let it move advance about 10mmthis time.
7. Tighten the loosened bolts of gear press plate.
8. Repeat letting the mold height advance and retract once again to checkmovement.
At this moment, make checks on the torque during movement with the4TD.
(There is no problem if it is less than 70%.)
9. Do production, and measure the substrate thickness, therebyadjust thethickness if necessary.
For a method of adjustment, refer to the another manual “How to adjust substrate thickness
(For PRO-H)”.
Unless it may be adjusted, there is a possibility that parallelism of die-plate or tie-bar balance
go out of order. Please contact our service engineer.
