1)  2018 – Conference Theme

  1. We have been asked by Scott Egger the incoming 2018 to help develop a theme for the 2018 Fall and Spring conferences. Kandace sent out an email to committee members and will forward ideas to Scott.

2)  Website

  1. Jeremy has brought on a new team member to help with our website. Kandace to forward her all of the consultant contact information to get started as well as content ideas.

3)  2017 Spring Conference

  1. The spring conference presentation was well attended, although at the end of the last track on the last day. The committee discussed seeing if their next accepted presentation could be earlier in the day or on Wednesday to allow for more participation. Kandace noted that the spring conference when held in Tacoma is less attended during the last track due to attendees getting an early start home.
  2. The booth took in a good amount of business thanks to Jeremy. Sold over $200.00 worth in shirts.

4)  2018 – Conference Presentation

  1. The committee talked about ideas for the next presentation. The concept, “Count Me In”. Taking a look at you current workforce and utilizing their skills more productively. Kandace will write up the application and get sent in as the deadline is coming up fast.

5)  Business Items

  1. Meetings – Rotate location at least twice a year
  2. The committee liked this idea. Jeremy and Erin offered up locations. The committee needs to decide on dates and schedules so we can get these on the calendar. Jeremy has also initiated Skype meetings which show to make a huge difference already in attendance.
  3. Upcoming Events
  4. Jeremy and Erin are working on ideas.
  5. Partner with Education Committee
  6. Job Fairs
  7. The committee liked this idea and will get in touch with other committees to get started. Kandace will contact the Education Committee. Need to have others connect as well.
