Believe it or not, now is the time to start thinking about your child’s yearbook. The details will be emailed through the weekly reminders and the class parents, and posted on Facebook. The yearbook packet will also be posted on the PTA website at Here is a checklist of what we will collect.
We want to ensure that your child is represented numerous times in the yearbook. While we prefer emailed submissions, you can also submit your printed photos or hand-designed messages to “PTA Yearbook”. For more details, see General Submission Information below.

Submissions are grouped as follows:
Baby / Toddler Photo (please send only one)
One special section will be devoted to baby/toddler pictures. Please email your photo with the child’s name and fourth grade teacher’s name as the subject line. Photos should be set to “best quality” when emailed.
Elementary School Candids
Please send group shots (two or more children) from their first through fourth grade school years. In past years, yearbooks have included pages dedicated to Halloween, Field Day, Concerts, Plays, and candid’s throughout the year. As fourth grade events occur, please forward the photos immediately.
Please Note: The yearbook will not include photos from sports, birthday parties, or events outside school
Messages of Love
A special section for “Messages of Love” to your graduating fourth graders will be included in the yearbook. Your pictures, text, or border can be printed however you prefer in full color. The order form enclosed illustrates the actual size of each space for your special message. All “Messages of Love” submitted may be digitally designed or hand designed. The prices and sizes for the “Messages of Love” are: (if you need help creating a memory, please let me know)

GENERAL SUBMISSION INFORMATION
ALL MESSAGES AND PHOTOS:
Must include your child's name
Must include sender's name, email, and phone number in case we need to contact you
DIGITALLY DESIGNED MESSAGES:
May be Word, PDF, or JPG (300dpi) format; for other formats please call
May be emailed or submitted on CD – payment must be received with a printed copy by the submission deadline in order to be included in the yearbook
If you need assistance in creating a message, please email photo along with text and we will create something for you
HAND DESIGNED MESSAGES:
May be a handwritten or “cut and paste” design to be scanned by yearbook committee
Must be submitted with payment by the submission deadline in order to be included in the yearbook
DIGITAL PHOTOS (PREFERRED):
Digital photos MUST be JPG format, highest quality or largest size – it is better to scan an 8x10 photo than a 2x3 photo
Digital photos may be emailed or submitted on CD – multiple photos submitted together must be identified by image file name with the children's names for each photo
Baby photos MUST BE SENT SEPARATELY! The child’s name and BABY PHOTO should be in the subject
Screen shots of photos from your phone or tablet will NOT print well and may not be used
PRINTED PHOTOS:
Printed photos MUST be on photo quality paper printed at the highest quality
Printed photos must include children’s names taped or post-it on each photo (DO NOT WRITE ON BACK OF PHOTO)
Printed photos will not be returned; if you prefer, scan and email your photo (DO NOT TAKE A PHOTO OF YOUR PHOTO – it will not print well)

Text only messages WILL NOT include photos. Each 90-character message costs $5; spaces and punctuation must be included when counting characters.. If you go over 90 characters, your message may be cut off. You may pay for more than one message by using another section. Special characters cannot be printed. YOU MUST USE a separate form for each student. The student's name will be printed above his / her message and will not be counted in the 90 characters unless you include it in the message.
Ad sized messages may include unlimited text for no extra charge. You may purchase more than one message type.
