This event is for you, your father, your sons and your brothers and for other men in your life to get together with several hundred other men and young men in order to Discover, Learn and Teach each other about being the Best Men we can be through our relationships with other men. Be prepared to forge through some raw, undeveloped terrain with your father, son or brother as you team up to set up camp. Inspire your father to share his legacy and witness the character and leadership qualities of men in your life. For one weekend, give yourself and other men and young men the gift of respect, honor, community, Trust and humor through creative and engaging games as well as competitive adventures, which last year proved to be the place where all of the above was possible.

Registration begins at 7:00 a.m. Saturday

Breakfast begins at 8:00 a.m. Saturday.

The event will end at 10:00 a.m. Sunday.

Participants are welcome to arrive Friday to set up camp 6pm or later/provide for your own dinner

What to bring – A sack or bag lunch for Saturday.

A spirit of adventure; a willingness to teach, to learn, and play honorably.

Personal toiletries, sleep gear, tent, flash light, bug repellent, sun screen, snacks, H20, etc.

Saturday/Sunday Breakfast and Saturday Dinner Are Provided

$50-$5(gas credit)=$45/Adult$25-$5 (gas credit)=$20/age 8 to 17, under 7 is free

(children 7 and under are the sole responsibility of their guardian and must be attended to accordingly)

From San Jose:

  • Head toward Santa Cruz on Hwy. 17 south
  • Take the Summit Road off ramp, go up, right, and over Hwy.17. Turn left onto Summit Rd. (east)

From Santa Cruz:

  • Take Hwy. 17 North toward San Jose, take the Summit Road off ramp to the right (east)

Then: (it takes 20-30 minutes from Hwy. 17)

  • Go past the SummitCenter market, past Old San Jose/Soquel Road, about 5-1/2 miles from Hwy. 17 to the first stop sign on Summit. By this time Summit Road has changed its name to Highland Way.
  • Make a right and then an immediate left to stay on Highland Way. There is a sign saying “Corralitos 15 miles"
  • You will continue on Highland as the road winds for approximately 5 miles.
  • CAUTION: Windy narrow road ! !
  • You will drop into Soquel Creek canyon and pass CampLoma on your right.
  • Highland will make a sharp hairpin to the right and you will start to climb a hill. Go another 1/2 mile or so to an intersection of sorts where Highland changes into Eureka Canyon Road and meets Ormsby Cutoff & Buzzard Lagoon.
  • At the top of the hill is a sign on your right saying "Play Safe".
  • Make a right at the top of the hill onto Buzzard Lagoon Road. (It is a flat, well-maintained dirt road.)
  • Continue up Buzzard Lagoon for less than 1/2 mile. You will come to a hairpin turn to the left. DON’T TAKE THE HAlRPIN….. JUST GO STRAIGHT INTO THE GATE WITH THE BIG SPIKES ON IT.
  • If you get to NiseneMarksPark gate~ you’ve gone too far.

FROM SOUTH COUNTY SANTA CRUZ/MONTEREY

  • Drive to intersection of Freedom Blvd and Corralitos Rd.
  • Turn north on Corralitos Rd headed to Corralitos Meat Market.
  • At the intersection of Corralitos Rd and Browns Valley Road there is a stop sign and the Corralitos Meat Market (great sausages!) Corralitos Rd changes its name to Eureka Canyon Road at this intersection.
  • Continue north on Eureka Canyon Road to the top of the hill, about 20 minutes.
  • At the top of the hill EurekaCanyon intersects with Buzzard Lagoon Rd, Ormsby Cut-Off, and it changes it’s name to Highland Way. Make a left onto Buzzard Lagoon Rd
  • About 1/4 mile down this well maintained dirt road is a hairpin turn. Do not take the hairpin! Continue straight through the big spiked gate onto Glen Andrew. If you reach the gate to NiseneMarksState Park you have gone too far.
