DUNBARTON PLANNING BOARD

WEDNESDAY, MARCH 19, 2008

TOWN OFFICES – 7:00 P.M.

The regular monthly meeting of the Dunbarton Planning Board was held at the above time, date and place with Co-Chairman Ken Swayze presiding. The following members were present:

Kenneth Swayze, Co-Chairman

Alison R. Vallieres, Secretary

Michael Poirier

Les Hammond, Selectmen’s Representative

Jeff Crosby, Road Agent

Public Notice Requirements:

Ken Swayze, Co-Chairman, verified with the Secretary that the meeting had been posted in three public places throughout the Town and published in the Concord Monitor for one day in accordance with State RSA’s. The Public Notice was also posted on the Dunbarton Web Page.

Quorum:

Ken Swayze, Co-Chairman, noted for the record that there was a quorum present to conduct business.

Approval of previous meeting minutes: Wednesday, February 20, 2008:

MOTION:

Michael Poirier made a motion that the Dunbarton Planning Board accept the minutes of

the previous meeting of Wednesday, February 20, 2008 as written. Kenneth Swayze

seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously.

Appointments to the Planning Board:

Les Hammond, Selectmen, asked that the Planning Board Chairman submit a letter to the

Selectmen regarding who they wanted reappointed on the Planning Board. James Marcou’s term

is up this year. Ken Swayze will check to make sure James Marcou wants to continue on the

Board.

OTHER BUSINESS:

Subdivision Regulations:

Ken Swayze reported that the Planning Board will be starting the process of re-doing the

subdivision regulations. Will be looking for volunteers to help.

Energy/Green Committee:

Les Hammond reported that both he and George Holt, the newly appointed Alternate Member of

the Planning Board would like to have energy/green taken into consideration when the Planning

Board revises the subdivision regulations.

GPS Development:

Jeff Crosby, Road Agent, stated he had seen some activity at the GPS Development Site on Route

13..He stopped to check and found that John Neville will be doing some of the road construction

work on the project with Gregg Scarlet. He asked the Planning Board what the status of this

project was.

The Planning Board informed Jeff Crosby that no work can be done on this project until a Final

Plan is submitted, along with posting a bond for the road, and a reclamation bond. In addition,

there are other loose ends that need to be taken care of before any work is started.

There being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 7:35 p.m.
