Legacy OptumRx is theleading Health Care Insurance Company in US.This project deals with Extraction of data from various Upstream systems, loading into RxTrack Data warehouse and finally producing reports (Daily, Weekly, Monthly) basis. It also deals with finding out and resolving the data discrepancy between source systems and Data warehouse. The data warehouse maintains all the member, claim, pharmacy and drug details. It stores health insurance details of member and its dependents. Claim / member eligibility information are expressed in summary form for reporting and statistical analysis.
Responsibilities:
Implemented the ETL process to load data from Upstream systems into RxTrack Data warehouse.

The project objective is to capture ESI patient contact communication request data and tracking ESI patient communication response. ESI Patient contact can occur over different mediums like phone/IVR, phone/customer care, email, web, fax letter. Additionally, health care advocates may contact on behalf of an ESI patient, patent, pharmacist, physician, skilled nursing facility etc. Subsequently, a case may be created to track this contact event. It is expected that ESI will return a professional and timely response to the patient via mediums like phone, fax or letter. This also entails the update of a case on the current status, evolving status and closure. This patient request and ESI response is referred as input/output channels.

The main objective is to implement this feature in the banking product Oracle Flexcube 12.0.2.
COT and VAT needs to be calculated for identified debit transactions and ear mark the amount at CASA account.
The nature of application is such that if the customer's available balance is not sufficient for the COT+VAT in addition to the debit transaction amount, the transaction should fail with "insufficient balance" message.
COT and VAT charge components are earmarked online when debit/Credit transactions take place on accounts configured for COT+VAT application.
If the available balance is less than sum of previous ear marked transactions + (current transaction + current COT + current VAT), then transaction should be rejected online. System will throw override.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT
RISK MATRIX is a Credit Risk reporting system. MATRIX project implements a cross product credit risk engine based on a distributed processing architecture. It calculates and reports CCEs, PFEs and EPEs (Current Credit Exposure, Projected Future Exposure and Expected Positive Exposures) results using Monte-Carlo simulation over various time points. Monte-Carlo methodology provides more accurate credit reporting.
This system collects Counter party, Market data and trade information from various upstream applications and values them against market data using matrix application server to generate different types of reports. The output is then used by common server to generate the reports for Credit Risk Controlling. The project involves providing maintenance and production support to MATRIX system.
