  • NOTE: The Theme programme consists of a variety of Dramatic Forms, movement, prose, poetry, extracts etc, See L.O. 3 A.S 1.
These items are connected through a central theme.
Candidates have to present 3 items. These items must vary in style e.g.: Comedy’Tragedy/commedia dell’ arte/Elizabethan/ Greek etc.
  • NOTE: The mark that the educator and the panel will allocate to each candidate will be out of a 100.
  • NOTE:. The moderator / examiner will examine the individual 3 items of each candidate as well as each candidate`s contribution to the overall theme
  • NOTE: After each practical exam, the moderator, 2 additional educators and the educator who`s candidates have been examined, will discuss the learners' results.
  • The final mark, however, will be the moderator’s decision.
  • NOTE: The Final Moderated Mark will be out of 150, and must be calculated by the educator and e-mailed to both the Examiner and the Senior Education
Specialist, the day after the examination
NOTE: When identifying the candidates please do not choose numbers BUT bright colours that are displayed boldly. This will make the identification of the
candidates easier.
  • NOTE: Time per candidate approximately 5 minutes, not more than 6
  • NOTE: Above are merely some regulations, read the Performance Examination Guideline document in detail and ensure all requirements for the Theme Programme
are in place for the panel of examiners.
