Follow-up inspection refers to Follow-up Investigation & On-site Production Sampling Test, Investigation & Selling Product Sampling Test and/or Investigation.

7.4 Frequency and Timing of Follow-up Inspection (For Household and Similar Electrical Appliances)

There are three methods of follow-up inspection: Investigation & On-site Production Sampling Test, Investigation & Selling Product Sampling Test or Investigation. Follow-up inspection can be performed by adopting a single method or multiple methods therein.

Category of Applicants / Frequency / Contents
Category I / At least once every two years / End-of-production-line sampling test OR follow-up investigation OR selling products sampling test/check
Category II / At least once a year / End-of-production-line sampling test OR follow-up investigation OR selling products sampling test/check
Category III / At least once a year / Follow-up investigation + End-of-production-line sampling test AND/OR selling products sampling test/check
Category IV / At least twice a year / Follow-up investigation + End-of-production-line sampling test AND/OR selling products sampling test/check

For applicants adopting Model 1 for certification, in principle, initial factory inspection will be conducted within 3 months after the products being certified.

7.4 Frequency and Timing of Follow-up Inspection (For Electrical Accessories and Small Power Motors)
