Dear Parents and Guardians,

Freehold High School will hold parent-teacher conferences on Thursday, November 16, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

You may schedule your conference(s) online through the Genesis Parent Portal. Click on the “Conferences Tab” at the top of your Genesis homepage. The “Conference Tab” will be available on Wednesday, November 1, 2017, and it will remain open until Monday November, 13, 2017. Please see the step-by-step directions below or view an informational video here:

You will be able to schedule conferences with your child’s current teachers and school counselor using the Genesis Parent Portal. If there is another individualyou would like to schedule a conference with please email or call the staff member directly and he or she will set up the conference with you via email or phone.

When scheduling your conferences, please keep in mind the following:

  1. Conferences are five minutes in length.
  2. You may only schedule one conference time per teacher, per child.
  3. You must have a Genesis parent account to schedule conferences. Parent teacher conferences cannot be scheduled through a student account. If you do not have a parent account and require assistance, please contactAnne Hlava at 732-431-8360 ext. 2001
  4. If you are unable to attend parent-teacher conferences or unable to schedule an appointment and would like to meet with your child’s teacher, you may contact him or her via email or phone to set up a phone or in-person conference at another time.

Please continue to access Genesis in order to view student grades and attendance and complete required forms.

Scheduling Parent/Teacher Conferences on Genesis Parent Portal

  1. Login to Genesis Parent Portal
  1. Select Student you would like to make the conference for
  1. Click on the new Conference Tab
  1. Click on Request a Conference
  1. Click on the calendar icon and change the date to the conference date.
  1. You will see conference dates and times listed for the teachers
    your child has.
  1. Select the Teacher and click the list of times
  1. Click the Reserve button for the conference time you would like to schedule.
  1. OK to confirm Conference
  1. The conference icon will change to white
    indicating that you have reserved the conference slot.
    (example: Wed, March 7, 2014)
  1. To Cancel the conference time – click the Cancel button.
    You can ONLY cancel conferences you have scheduled.
